Our tiaras and headbands were shown recently in the Create and Craft Club Magazine and we thought you may like some more details about how they are made.

You Will Need

0.4mm Wire
Diamante flowers in 2 sizes (we used style 001 and 007)
Diamante Cupchain

For the aurora boreallis tiara you’ll also need

The supplies are available to buy from the Create and Craft website as well as directly from BDi.  We stock the diamantes and pearls in a variety of colours to perfectly match your outfits,  so can adapt these designs to perfectly match your bridesmaids, prom and evening wear as well as being lovely for brides.

All of the detailed technique instructions are available here, and here so I’ve just included below a breakdown of how each design was put together.

Tip: You can cover some of the wire wrapping on the headband by attaching the large diamante flowers over the top.

3. Decorate the remaining parts of the headband with cupchain.

Make the Red Side Tiara

3. Repeat stages 1 and 2 three more times turning the headband round each time so that the twisted stems point in opposite directions. Add one more large flower directly to the headband.
