Make Your Fastenings A Feature

bracelet with diamante toggle clasp mk2 + logo
We have lots of new arrivals this week at BDi, including these lovely diamante toggle clasps featuring Cupid’s arrow encrusted with tiny diamante stones. We thought we would give you some design inspiration and make a pretty beaded bracelet with one of our new toggle clasps, showing that  your fastenings don’t just have to be an afterthought! Toggle clasps are great to use as they can be secured with one hand and fastened easily by the wearer. Follow our guide and see how we’ve used our new toggle clasp as a functional feature, and the main focal point of this lovely bracelet.

To make the bracelet you will need:
Diamante Toggle Clasp set in Silver
Tiger Tail Beading Wire & Crimp Beads Bundle
6mm Crystal Clear Bicones
8mm Crystal Clear Disco Balls
6mm Diamante Rondelles

To create the bracelet, Jo measured out 10 inches of tiger tail, finishing off one end by threading on the ring of the toggle clasp and securing with a flattened crimp bead. She then threaded on the bicones, disco balls and rondelles to create the pattern you can see above, and finished off the end of tiger tail with the arrow piece of the clasp, and another flattened crimp bead to secure together.
