Beautiful Bridal Inspiration – Moonlight Grey

Posted by Jojo on

Today we have another post from our bridesmaid inspiration series, and this time we have been looking at a moonlight grey colour palette. Not initially a colour you may think of for bridesmaids, this beautiful pale grey gives a grown up, sophisticated feel as apposed to the pretty pastel shades most typically seen. The neutral palette also gives room for lots of colour when it comes to the accessories and flowers, sitting perfectly alongside dusky pinks, pale blues and buttercup yellows. To keep the look chic and classic, we’ve picked out some stunning silver and grey pieces from the BDi collection that will set of the grey hues of the dresses collage grey

A hint of sparkle is a must to really bring this shade alive. We love the diamante oval and our flower wave connector, as they’re both encrusted with tiny clear/AB crystals that give a stunning colourful effect when they catch the light.  If you’re after a more dramatic look, then our new diamante cluster would be perfect for making a striking tiara or brooch, or for a classic feel, our new pearl beads in the shade moonlight grey are ideal. Use the beads to make a necklace, bracelet, spray or to decorate the bouquets for a quick way to pull the look together.

Top row l-r: Sequin applique flower and leaves, 4cm long diamante wave pendants, round pearl beads in moonlight grey, large diamante cluster.
Bottom row l-r: Flat backed diamante oval, diamante flower wave connector, crystal and diamante applique pair, 6mm silver stardust beads.

Above are some other products from the range at BDi that would be great for this colour palette. Our diamante wave pendants would make stunning earrings – their delicate diamantes and long shape would look lovely with the bridesmaid’s hair swept into a chic up do. We also have a large collection of bridal appliques, beautifully decorated with crystals, beads and sequins that would be perfect sewn on the shoulders of a sleeveless gown, or at the base of a V neck line.

Let us know what you would create to go with the moonlight grey theme. We love to hear your ideas!
